Dear valued guests and partners,
More and more measures are being taken all over the world to protect us against the coronavirus.
We at Kololo Game Reserve acknowledge the seriousness of the Covid-19 virus, the health and safety of our guests is of utmost importance. Therefore we keep a close eye on the developments and change our policies and protocols to the changing circumstances. More information about Covid-19 on the South African government’s Covid-19 portal www.sacoronavirus.co.za.
For guest who have booked with us, we are trying to find a solution.
Our normal cancelation policy does not allow for refunds or rescheduling of bookings. However, these are exceptional circumstances for everyone. We have therefore decided that all bookings in March and April 2020 can be postponed into our low & normal season anywhere up to September 2021.
Mid-April we will re-evaluate for May and June 2020 and if needed apply the same policy.
Unfortunately, we do have operational restrictions since we are a small lodge. We therefore simply cannot adhere to requests to move bookings into peak season.
New bookings for March and April 2020 will not require a deposit up to 2 days prior to arrival, so guest can monitor whether changes in the situation still allow them to travel.
We currently work under a limited profit principle and unfortunately do not operate in a climate where there is sufficient support for businesses that have to refund cancelations, or for individuals who might lose (part of) their job.
We are therefor focussed first and foremost on helping our staff through this difficult period. So they will be there to welcome you as our valued guests, once the travel restrictions have been lifted.
We understand that everyone who has booked with us has their own specific circumstances, and we are trying our hardest to balance everyone’s requests.
Our social media and reservations team are online, so please keep in contact. Feel free to email us on firstname.lastname@example.org to find out about traveling in the future and booking your safari and wildlife experience at Kololo.
We look forward welcoming you to Kololo in the near future.
